How do I open a Philatelic Deposit Account ?

In India - You can open a Deposit Account in any Head Post Office (HPO) in the country. You may also download the application form available at this site and send it to the HPO, where you would like to run your Philatelic Deposit Account. Please fill the available form and ensure a deposit of Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) in Indian currency at the concerned HPO. The applicant should fill up in the application and indicate the requirement of the following items. Send your application form to the nearest Philatelic Bureau. Requirement of stamps. First day cover (F.D.C.) Blank or with stamps duly cancelled. Brochure (information sheet) Other items Army cover/special cover Miniature sheet.
