31st Dec 2002: Commemorative stamp on 'T.T. Krishnamachari' was released.

Krishnamachari began his life as a businessman and went on to lay the foundation of the hugely successful firm TT Krishnamachari & Co. in 1928, in Chennai.
T.T. Krishnamachari was one of the makers of modern India.
He was the son of a district judge.
