Golconda Fort is one of the most important forts in India, and is situated at a distance of eleven kilo meters from Hyderabad.Golconda in Hyderabad - Crowning an isolated granite hill, the Golconda fort rises 400 feet above the surrounding plain .Golconda Fort is one of the magnificent forts of India whose history dates back to the 13th century.The war that took place destroyed the Golconda fort and left it in complete ruins in 1687.The present structure of the Golconda Fort was renovated by Qutub Shahi kings.Golconda Fort is an extraordinary monument of Hyderabad.Open Hours:8 am to 6.30 pm everyday for tourists.
